Frank Mala Montoro, 69, of Wilsonville, died at 10:30 p.m., Monday Sept, 13 2004 at his residences.
Born June 20, 1935 in Helper, Utah he was the son of Mala and Mary Cooper Montoro. He married Delores Houchard on Apr 16, 1955 in Los Angeles, Calif. and she survives.
Mr Montoro retired in 1996 as a Scarfer in Bar Mill at Laclede Steel Co. Alton, IL
He was a member of the Gillespie Country Club and loved to golf, Fish and play cards with his friends.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Montoro is survived by one son, Donald of Wilsonville, 2 Daughters, Donna Westwood and husband Gerald of Benton, IL and Nancy Montoro of Wilsonville, five grandchildren, one great-grandson.
Also by one brother Ron and wife Emlie of Fresno, CA and a sister Amanda Pharaoh (Linda Hunter) of AZ
Preceding him in death were his parents, Mala Montoro and Wanda Tomish, one grandson William Greear JR and one sister Clara Collard
Funeral serices will be held at 6:30 pm, Thursday, Sept 16 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie with Monsignor Larry Auda officiating. Organist is Rosemary Messner. Vistitation is from 5pm util time of servise. Burial will be at Gillespie City Cemetery.
