Nannie Grace (Nan) Walters, died at home Dec. 14, 2000, after a long battle with cancer. Born Nannie Grace Wasson, on Nov. 30, 1914, in Antlers, OK. Mrs. Walters was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a retired employee of General Motors Corp. She was a member of the Chickasaw Nation. Mrs. Walters is survived by friend and companion, Berna Dean Graves; daughter, Nancy J. Powlas of Dickson, TN; son, Glenn S. Walters of OKC; grandsons, J. Dustin Walters and Jay M. Powlas; granddaughters, Kathryn Rae Walters and Lacey M. Powlas and great grandson, Benjamin J. Powlas. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. No Services.
