CENTENARY - Mrs. Mary Wise White, widow of Wayland D. White, died Monday at her home in Centenary.
Mrs. White was born in Batesburg, a daughter of the late Frederick and Charity Smith Wise. She was Marion County attendance teacher for 27 years and had taught in the county public schools prior to that.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. C. C. Whittle of Williston, Mrs. O. T. Price of Ridge Springs and Mrs. Vernon Wise of Batesburg.
Funeral services will be at Smith Brothers Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
