"Benjamin Nelson Bordeau passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Saturday, June 18, 1977. Age 64 years. He was born Feb. 23, 1913 in Iosco County and been a resident of Saginaw for the past forty years. He married June Rose Ray on Aug. 17, 1940. She survives him. Mr. Bordeau was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was employed by the Central Warehouse Co. for twenty-five years, retiring in 1971. Surviving besides his wife, are two daughters and one son, Mrs. William K. (Betty June) Vaughn, Phoenix, AZ; Mrs. Thomas (Mary) NcNeil; and Raymond Nelson Bordeau, both of Saginaw; five grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Dora Metiva, Standish; Mrs. Edna Lemmer, Flint; and Mrs. Lillian Lee, AuGres.
Funeral services will take place 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St, and 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. James Gavit will officiate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel after 7:00 p.m. Sunday where they will meet at 7:00 p.m. Monday for a prayer service."
