It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Pasquale, husband, father and grandfather. Pasquale, loving husband of Maria Greco of Calgary, passed away surrounded by his devoted family on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the age of 85 years.

Pasquale is survived by his wife of sixty-three years Maria; sons, Joe (Nina), Frank (Susie), John (Ines); and daughter Teresa (Lorenzo Santillo); son-in-law John Durante; seventeen grandchildren; a sister Filomena Nicastro; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pasquale was predeceased by his daughter Virginia (2005); son Tony (2008); his sisters Virginia, Maria and brother Francesco.

Pasquale was born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy on September 9, 1926. He was born to Teresa Mosca and Giuseppe Greco. He immigrated to Canada in 1952 at the young age of twenty-five. Pasquale's passions in life were his family and his business. He loved to spend his time at family gatherings, playfully teasing his grandchildren. In his retirement years he passed his time in his greenhouse and garden. He loved to travel to British Columbia where he could spend more time with his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to prayers and tributes at St. Luke's Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Mausoleum. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
