Rachel G. Brown, 72, of Hannibal, died at 1:14 a.m. Dec. 27, 1997, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Tabernacle of Praise. The Rev. Delmar Blase will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.
Mrs. Brown was born May 2, 1925, in Barry, Ill., to George L. and Jenny Pitzer Martin.
She was married to David Francis Brown on June 5, 1945. He preceded her in death May 18, 1982.
Survivors include two sons, David E. Brown of Springfield, Mo., and John O. Brown of Hunnewell; four daughters, Pat McMullen of Hull, Ill., Doris Hendrick of Merritt Island, Fla., Louise Foley of Palmyra and Debbie Brown of Hannibal; two brothers, Ross Martin of Barry and Francis Martin of Urbana, Ill.; one sister, Ruth Snow of Payson, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kermit Martin, Floyd Martin and Harold Martin; and two sisters, Helen Godert and Eleanor Martin.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Grand View Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Tabernacle of Praise.
