Darla J. LaBo, 51, of Monroe died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in her home. She had been in poor health for three months.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 today and from noon to 9 Friday at Rupp Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 10 a.m. Saturday until services at 11 at Raisinville Baptist Church. The Rev. George B. Fountain, pastor of the church, will oficiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Born April 26, 1949, in Monroe, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Adeline (Keck) Chalfin. She married Thomas R. LaBo Dec. 16, 1967 at Carleton United Methodist Church, Carleton.
A secretary, she worked at Raisinville Baptist Church for 6 1/2 years. She also had been a waitress for six years at Leonardo's Restaurant.
Mrs. LaBo was a 1967 graduate of Airport High School, Carleton, and a member of Raisinville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Christopher A. (Rene) of Flat Rock; a daughter, Tommie Sue (Dennis) Soderberg, of Flat Rock; two brothers, Robert of Newport and Charles of Flat Rock, and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
