Stewart Z. Schenck
Stewart Z. Schenck died unexpectedly Thursday, following a heart attack in Las Vegas, N.M., according to word received here by his siter, Mrs. J.M. Vansant. Mr. Schenck was born December 21, 1873, in Osage City, son of the late Dr. W.L. Schenck, who lived and practiced in this community for many years. Mr. Schenck had lived in Chicago many years and had recently gone to Las Vegas to spend the winter.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Islina F. Schenck; two sons, three daughters, one stepson, two stepdaughters, ten grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Vansant; Mrs. A.J. Strauss, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. A.M. Bunten, Washington, D.C.; and Miss Ella Schenck, Denver.

The body will be brought to Topeka for burial in the family lot at Mount Hope Cemetery.
