Roachdale Rites
For Dode Bell
Services for Dode E. Bell, 70,
will be held from the Perkins
Funeral Home in Roachdale at 2
p.m. Sunday with burial in the
Roachdale Cemetery.
Mr. Bell was found dead of natural
causes in Crawfordsville
Thursday afternoon.
He was a Hendricks County
native, bom July 27, 1893 to General
Sherman and Frances Murphy
Bell. He was married to
Bertha Myers.
Mr. Bell was reared in Putnam
County. He farmed and for about
20 years was employed by the
Indianapolis Power & Light Co.
He moved to Crawfordsville upon
his retirement five years ago.
Surviving are eight children,
Harry L. of Bainbridge, Howard
E. and Ralph E. of Crawfordsville,
Hubert M. and Vernon E. of
the Roachdale community, Mrs.
Junior Hubble of Jamestown,
M r s. Charles A. Thralls of
Tampa, Fla., and Wayne T. of
Waveland; two sisters. Mrs. Minnie
Keck of Roachdale and Mrs.
Daisy Rhude of Greenwood, and
30 grandchildren
