Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Baca, her parents, Francisco and Eloisa Gurulé, two brothers, Eduvejen Gurulé and Felix Gurulé, one grandson, Jonathan Chávez and one sister, Eva Durán.
Caroline is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Chávez, two brothers, Albert Gurulé and his wife, Jenie of Albuquerque and Frank Gurulé of Minco, OK, five sisters, Sister Rosalie of San Antonio, TX, Tillie De Herrera of Albuquerque, Lola Flores of Gallup, Emma Rodríguez and her husband, Eddie of Gallup, Nellie Salas and her husband, Toby of Albuquerque and Annie Lovato and her husband, Ray of La Jara, NM. Caroline will be greatly missed by her loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning at the Santo Niño Catholic Church in La Jara, at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at La Jara (Santo Niño) Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arthur Baca, Arthur Montoya, George Flores, Ben Silva, Clifford De Herrera and Alvin Suazo. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Durán, Leonard Váldez, Jerry De Herrera, Edward Rodríguez and Michael Gurulé.
