Ina May Tower-Hoop, age 96 of Evart, passed away Friday January 21, 2011 in Grand Rapids. She was born May 28, 1914 in Coldwater and was adopted by William and Clara McCain of Evart. She was a lifetime resident of Evart and was a member of the Assembly of God Church for over 20 years. She was a wonderful mother to six children and enjoyed gardening and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Clara McCain, husbands Elmer Tower, Floyd J. Farrar, and Merlin Hoop; son Charlie Tower, daughter Norma Jean Farrar, and great granddaughter Kelli Baldwin. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday January 26, 2011 at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home, Reed City with Rev. Tom Jeffrey officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1-3 P.M.
