Her husband, Howard G. BLAIR born 1916, died 1957 age 40 in Lake County, Ohio. Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville, Oh
Mariana graduated from the Huron Road School of Nursing in Painesville, Ohio. She had owned Knitting Kats in Mt. Pleasant, SC; sang with the "Sweet Adelines" and was a charter member of the First United Methodist Church of the Isle of Palms. Mrs. BLAIR was survived by her sons, Todd BLAIR of Bowman, David BLAIR of Mt. Pleasant, and Leonard R. CANNON of Isle of Palms; her grandchildren, Jason BLAIR, Todd BLAIR, Jr., Hillary BLAIR, Sarah BLAIR and David H. BLAIR and three great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her sister, Mrs. John (Sally) HOULE of Mt. Pleasant, SC and her brother, Jim MERRILL of Ohio.
Mariana's memorial service was Dec 18, 2001 at First United Methodist Church of Isle of Palms, South Carolina.
