Marion Irene (Teeters) Gooch was born 4 April 1920 in Fay, Oklahoma. She was baptized into Christ on 6 July 1920 in the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Marion confirmed her Christian faith at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Midwest City, OK 14 March 1965. She attended elementary and high school at Fay and Watonga, OK and Draughan's Business College in Oklahoma City, OK.

Marion married Wilson Gooch on 12 May 1940. Their union was blessed with two children, Gwendol and Larry. Marion has lived in Oklahoma City, Del City, and Midwest City since 1937. She worked as a Material Management Specialist at Tinker Air Force Base for 25 years, retiring in 1972.

Marion was a member of Lutheran Women Missionary League and active member at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Midwest City.

She was preceded in death by husband Wilson Gooch, mother and father Myrtle and Marion Teeters, three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by daughter, Gwendol Madden, son, Larry Gooch and wife Cindy; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Midwest City, with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
