s/o Ernest Ione Bomar and Nora Viola Campbell. He is survived by his wife Mary "Nita" Juanita (Thomas) Bomar, daughters Nora Carolyn (Bomar) Karels, and Glenda Gayle Bomar as well his grandson Charles Joseph (Chip) Karels. John worked his entire career as a tool and die maker for General Dynamics in Fort Worth with time out to serve in the U S Army in the last year of WWII. He was an avid bowler and served many years teaching children to bowl.
