A native of Seattle, Mrs. Gilmore attended Forest Ridge Convent, Seattle; Convent of the Sacred Heart, Menlo Park, California, and San Francisco College for Women. She founded and was president of Northwest Certified Surveys, Inc., a market research company. She was also founder and director of the Market Research Association and a member of the American Marketing Association, Children of Mary Sodality and Association for Catholic Childhood.
She is survived by a son, Robert H. Gilmore Jr., a brother, Edmund C. Burke, and three grandchildren, all of Seattle.
