Wylie Barbre Dies
Wylie B. Barbre, 75, former resident of the Portage area in the west portion of this county, died Sunday in a Lewistown hospital. Funeral services and burial were at Lewistown Monday.
He was born Nov. 26, 1889, at Glade Springs, Virginia. He married Villa N. Rhodes in 1911 in Creston, Washington. They moved to Montana in 1914, first settling near Cascade, then moving the same year to a homestead near Portage. In 1920 they moved to central Montana, where he ranched near Hanover, Hobson and Hilger, moving from the latter place to Lewistown in 1963.
Survivors are the wife and two daughters, and other relatives.
