Sacramento - Margaret Dell Whitmer, 77, of Sacramento died Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:22 PM at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. Born July 9, 1934 in McLean County she was a homemaker and a member of Towers Chapel Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Vernon Whitmer of Sacramento; one son, Harold Wayne Whitmer of Sacramento; two daughters, Judy Whitmer and Kathy Miller both of Sacramento; four grandchildren, Amy Covington, Brian Bratcher, Corey Miller, Whitney Wilson; three great grandchildren, Hagan Bratcher, Liam Wilson, Halle Rae Miller; one brother, Joe Dossett of Sacramento; one sister, Nelda Barrett of Sacramento.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Rev. Tony Blake officiating. Burial will be held in West Union Cemetery in Sacramento. Visitation will be held Monday after 5:00PM at the funeral home.
