At the residence of her father, in Richmond city, on Monday afternoon last, the
1st day of August, 1870, after a very brief illness, Mrs. Elizabeth V. Anderson,
wife of Charles W. Anderson, Esq., and daughter of Jacob P. and Hesther F.
Effinger, formerly of Harrisonburg, Va., in the 20th of year of her age. In
November last, she became a bride. But a few days a mother, the maternal
career, auspiciously begun, has been suddenly terminated by death. Her remains
were brought to Harrisonburg for burial.
