Bonnie Roysden Zakareckis age 83 of Powell, TN passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Bonnie was a loving mother, and grandmother. She loved her cat "Tigger". Bonnie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to gospel singings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Edith Roysden; husband, Charles Zakareckis; sons, Michael & Larry Vowell.
Survivors: Son, David Timms & wife Beverly of Knoxville, TN; Daughter, Lisa Stieber & husband Jason of Clinton, TN; Brother, Henry Burris of Oliver Springs, TN; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bonnie's family will receive her friends on Monday, September 26th from 5 – 7 PM with her celebration of life following at 7 PM in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Pastor Dewey Brown officiating.
