Mrs. Curtis Final Rites Conducted
Funeral services for Mrs. Hallette Baldwin Curtis who died Tuesday, were held Wednesday morning at the Holy Name of Jesus church. The Rev. Dennis Curran, S. J.. officiated at the requiem mass and interment was in the family plot in Metairie cemetery.
Mrs. Curtis died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hugh C. Cage, 1812 Panola street, following a two years illness. She was 77 years old and was the mother of Colonel Henry B. Curtis, commander of the Washington Artillery; Lieutenant Commander John P. Curtis of the naval air base in Puerto Rico; and of the late Edward B. Curtis Jr., a naval officer killed in a crash in 1926.
She is also survived by another sister, Miss Francis Baldwin of New Orleans.
