ROCKVILLE, IN -- Mrs. Jessie Cornelia Chapman, 90, died Mon. [10/6/1975] in the Vermillion County Hospital, Clinton, IN. Her home was R. R. 4, Rockville, IN.
Mrs. Chapman was born June 5, 1885 in Edgar Co., the daughter of Charles V. and Rhoda K Mason Brown. She was married to Nathan Chapman who preceded her in death 30 years ago [1945]. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Moore, R. R. 4, Rockville, IN and Mrs. Edith Porter of R. R. 3, Chrisman; plus several nieces and nephews, 11 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Chapman was a niece of the late Miss Olive Brown and Mrs. Delores Morrison of Paris.
Funeral services will be at the Tudor-Herrick Memorial Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Thurs. in Rockville with Rev. Jeff Hawn officiating. Burial will follow at the Vermilion Cem. at Vermilion where graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thrus. [10/9/1975] Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wed.
