On Jan. 18, 2004, Clara Z. Phillips, 85, went home to be with the Lord.
She is survived by her two daughters, Delma Dyer of Cleburne, TX, Jean Guerra of Sierra Blanca, TX, one brother, Marion Adams of Great Falls, Montana, and one sister, Irene Haas of Bandera, TX. Clara was the proud grandmother of five, great-grandmother of 12 and great-great-grandmother of one. When she entered Heaven, she was met by her husband Bob Phillips, seven sisters, three brothers, and many beloved friends. Clara loved people and during her life cared for others while a nurse and through her Church, First Christian Church in Del Rio, Tx.

She touched many lives in the communities of Mason County, where she was born, and in Del Rio, El Paso, and San Angelo where she spent many years of her life.

Our "Nonnie" was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a compassionate grandmother. We will all dearly miss Nonnie, but we know this is only farewell for now.

The family thanks the caring staff's of Rio Concho Terrace, Park Plaza nursing home and Hospice for their devoted time and attention to this special lady.
