Age 92 Mrs.Rudd passed away at the Calvert City Convalescent Center. she was member of the Smithland United Methodist church and also a member of The Eastern Star. She was an avid softball player when she was younger and played for the Smithland Red Birds.
She is survived by one son, J.A.Rudd and wife Sue Kelly of Smithland, one granddaughter, Cassee and Conner Layne; her special niece, Camelia; and two half sisters of Anaheim, Calif.
She was preceded by her husband, Jesse A. Rudd, two sisters, two brothers, and her parents,Aubrey E. and Gertrude Hodge Champion.
Funeral services held in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home in Salem,Ky. with the Rev.Brad Shuck officiating.
