Mrs. Minnie Rosetta Curtis Peel Laver died at 7 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Curtis, 1043 West Cerro Gordo street. She was forty years old. Mrs. Peel suffered an attack of influenza three months or more ago and the complications that followed caused her death. Her 1st husband, Charles e. Peel died in 1913 and she had filed for divorce from Mr. Laver before her illness.
Minnie is buried to the north next to her husband Charles Peel.
There is no marker.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Peel is survived by four children: Earl, Ruth, Myrtle and Charles K. Peel. Her brothers and sisters are M. W. Curtis of Decatur, Rufus Curtis of Peoria, Mrs. Bert Meece and Mrs. E. W. Brackett of Decatur. Mrs. Peel had lived in Decatur for over twenty-seven years.

The body was removed to the Moran undertaking establishment and prepared for burial, and the funeral will be held there. The interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery Decatur, Illinois.
