Miss Jeannie Sue Carroll, 41, of 710 West Road, Turkey, NC. died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.

Miss Carroll, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Charles Benny Carroll. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, O. N. Carroll. She was a machine operator with Nestaway in Clinton.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Jean and David Brown of Roseboro, a sister, Joy Evelyn Hopkins and husband Michael of turkey, Maternal grandparents, Paul and Grace Pope of Roseboro, Paternal grandmother, Estelle Carroll of Turkey, three nephews, Zachary, Spencer and Nichols Hopkins of Turkey and special friends Dave Terry of Turkey and Margaret Royal of Clinton.

The funeral services were held at 7pm, Monday evening, June 11, 2007 at Spirit of Life Worship Center with Bishop Larry Parker and the Rev. Morris Westbrook officiating.

A graveside service and burial was held Tuesday morning, June 12, 2007 at 11am in Turkey Cemetery.
