Betsy Madeline Riggs, 85, of Livingston died Thursday, July 7, 2011. She was born on November 7, 1925, but she always lied about her age because she looked so darned good. She was daughter of Mitchell William (Bud) Antee and Lescar Rachal Antee. She was born in Natchitoches Parish in Louisiana.

She is survived by her Daughter, Elizabeth R. Hancock of Livingston, her son, Duane Lee Riggs of Houston, her granddaughter Christie Hancock Jones of Livingston, her grandson Cody Hunter Riggs of Houston, and her sister, Shirley Jo Fritz of Magnolia.

She was a beautiful woman, a classy dresser, a world traveler, a good dancer, and a witty conversationalist. Always game for a new adventure.

She will be buried in Louisiana at the Rachal Family Cemetery at Monet Ferry. Heaven, get ready….she is coming your way.

Memorial Services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2011 the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Livingston, Texas with Father Labbe officiating.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Polk County Food Bend.
