Mrs. Albina L. Clark, 87, a resident of
the Wilton community for 86 years, died
at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home, five
miles north of Wilton after an extended
illness.
The daughter of Oliver and Lois Lenfest
Boynton, she was born in Washington, Me.,
on April 21, 1858. Her parents came to
the Wilton community when she was a year
and a half old, settling on the farm
site where Mrs. Clark spent the remainder
of her life.
Her marriage to Joel T. Clark took place
in Wilton in June of 1894. She was a
member of the Wilton Methodist church and
of various church organizations.
Surviving are a cousin: Lela Badger, who
resided with Mrs. Clark; three nieces,
Mrs. James Marolf of Moscow, Mrs. Lloyd
Barclay of Wilton, and Mrs. Walter
Lenker of Muscatine; and two nephews,
Oliver and Albert Kelley of Wilton. Her
husband preceded her in death in August
of 1936.
The body was taken to the Griffith
Funeral Home and Thursday morning was
taken to the family home where it is to
remain until Friday morning when it will
be removed to the Methodist church.
Services will be conducted at the church
at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Roger L.
Crabtree, pastor. Vocalists, Mrs. Keith
Sanson and Mrs. Robert Jensen,
accompanied by Miss Helen Shuger, will
sing: "The Holy City" and "The City
Foursquare". The pallbearers will be:
Nevin Kelley, Hilbert Kelley, Kenneth
Kelley, Irving Lenker, Joe Barclay and
John Birkhofer, Jr. Ushers: Jacob W.
Duffe and Mark Collier. Burial will be
in the Sharon Cemetery near Wilton
