She and Frederick had 3 children: Frederick, born Feb 13, 1873,Paul Alexander, born Ju; 24. 1875 and Renee Constance born Dec.5, 1895.
I have recently been contacted by a descendant of Renee from Geneva, Switzerland, and I am thrilled, as we not only have ancestry in common, but my/our Stanton children were born in Geneva as were she and her family.

"A cable from St. Legier, Switzerland, announces the death there Friday of Mrs. Susan Grand d'Hautville, widow of Frederic S. Grand d'Hauteville, a former well known summer resident of Newport. Mrs. d'Hautville was formerly Miss Macomb and had spent the summers here, occupying the residence on Bellevue and Victoria avenues. Mr. d'Hauteville died June 16, 1918, and his widow has lived the greater part of the time since in Switzerland, where she had a villa "Chateau d'Hauteville." She was in her eightieth year and is survived by two sons, Frederic V. Grand d'Hauteville and Paul Grand d'Hauteville, and a daughter, Miss Renee d'Hauteville.
Of her sons, Mr. Frederic V. Grand d'Hauteville was engaged in important war work in Switzerland, in charge of supplying the needs of French prisoners in Germany. The other son was engaged in Red Cross work in Paris, and was awarded the honor of Knight of Grace in the Grand Priory of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, for his work as director of the British section of the Bureau du Secours Aux Prisoners de Guerre at Berne. Mrs. d'Hauteville was a stockholder of the Newport Casino, a member of the Newport Reading Room, the Redwood Library and Newport Country Club."
