FRED URRUTIA

Funeral services for Fred Urrutia, 24, of 1318 Clark St., Rock Springs, were conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Vase Funeral Home, the Rev. David Rainos of the Assembly of God Church officiating.

Military graveside services were conducted by American Legion Archie Hay Post No. 24 and burial was in the Mountain View section of Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Urrutia, Robert Urrutia, Mark Urrutia, Moses Urrutia, Ronald McCormick, Jack Under and Gerald Gras.

Mr. Urrutia was killed Monday, July 15, in a power line accident in which he was electrocuted.

Born June 10, 1950 in Trinidad, Colo., he was the son of Robert and Lucy Lopez Urrutia.

He married Shannon Kaye Hammons in Manila, Utah April 30, 1973.

He attended Rock Springs schools and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict.

Surviving are his wife, Shannon, a daughter, Alleyenne M.; a son Chad Everett; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Urrutia, four sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Maggie) Gras, Mrs. Jack (Lucy) Unger, Barbara Jean and Connie Urrutia, three brothers, Robert, Mark and Moses, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, all of Rock Springs.
