GOLDTHWAITE - Velma Starks, 98, of Goldthwaite died Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, in a Brownwood hospital.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 6, 1901, in Mason. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Alfred Starks, and a daughter, Grace Geeslin, both of Goldthwaite; a sister, Lorene Martin of Mason; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
