He married Julia Wyatt on February 24, 1938 in Farmington, Utah.
He was employed in the Maintenance Department at Thiokol Chemical Corporation.
He had lived in Brigham City, Utah, since 1950. He was a member of the Brigham City Twelfth LDS Ward.
Surviving are his widow, a son and two daughters, David Orme, Mrs Kay (Judy) Olsen, Mrs Joel (Sherry) Wilson, all of Brigham City, Utah; four grandchildren; his mother, Mrs George Orme, Honeyville, Utah; three brothers and three sisters, Stanley J Orme, Ogden, Utah; James I (Bud) Orme, Mrs Oral (Ree) Hunsaker, Honeyville, Utah; John Lee Orme, Sunset, Utah; and Mrs Ralph G (Maxine) Holmes, Clearfield, Utah.
Burial was held in the Call's Fort Cemetery, Honeyville, Utah.
