MARY TOUCHER

A mass of Christian burial for Mary K. Toucher was conducted Wednesday, June 17 at the SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Father Terry Hruska officiated. A parish rosary was recited Tuesday, June 16 at the Vase Funeral Chapel.

Interment was in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Rock Springs.

Toucher, 82, of 326 McDonald Ave., North Platte, Neb., died at 3 p.m. Friday, June 12, at her home.

A resident of North Platte since July 4, 1978 and former longtime resident of Rock Springs, Mrs. Toucher had been in ill health the past several months.

She was born in Rock Springs on Aug. 6, 1905, the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Lipovsky Popernak. She married Urban Toucher on June 30, 1930. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in North Platte.

Survivors include one son, Urban J. Toucher of North Platte; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Pat) Heinzle of North Platte and Mrs. Mike (Francine) Simpson of Wellton, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. J.G. Motto of Rock Springs and Mrs. J.R. Warren of Price, Utah; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Toucher was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan Haug, who died Dec. 2, 1973.
