Funeral services for Zelma L. Spears, 79, of Westville were held March 9, at the Old Green Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Christie Officiating.
She was born March 26, 1913 in Westville to Joe and Sally Hitcher Phillips. She died March 6, at Stilwell Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Old Green Baptist Church and had been a lifelong resident of the Westville area.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Spears and both of her parents.
Survivors include; one brother, Edward Phillips of Kansas City, MO, 4 cousins, Robert and Junior Hitcher of Westville, Anawake Taylor of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Herbert Downing of San Diego, CA.
Pallbearers were: Chester Hammer, George Richard, Andy Turn, Ned Watt and Junior Hitcher.
Burial in Old Green Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
