Charles E. Anderson, 65, of Confluence, died July 6, 1972, in his home. Born Nov. 9, 1906, in Confluence, he was the son of the late Scott and Susan (Nicholson) Anderson. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Silbaugh: also seven grandchildren and two brothers, Joseph, of Confluence, and James Ralph, of Windber. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Irene Shipley. Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon in Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, with Rev. James Smiley officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery. Meyersdale (Pa.) Republican, July 13, 1972
