Gloria Glee Iden, age 88, Kimmell, Indiana died at 5:00 PM at North Ridge Village in Albion on Sunday, May 1, 2011. She was born on March 12, 1923. She graduated from Cromwell High School in 1941 and was the valedictorian of the class. On March 25, 1944 she married Junior D. Iden who is deceased. She was a homemaker, farmer, and office secretary. She was employed at Wirk Garment Corp. and Sorg Products in Ligonier. She retired from Dana Corp. in Churubusco in 1983 and later Precision Automotive in Syracuse in 1990.
A lifetime area resident, she was a member of the Broadway Christian Church and the Gideon's International Auxiliary. She served in various offices in these organization. She was a member of the West Noble Civic Club, Danamites, volunteer of the Goshen General Hospital and the Red Cross.
Surviving is one son, Terry A. Iden, Kimmell; three daughters, Becky G. Miller, Elkhart, Linda J. Barhydt, Goshen and Trudy A. White, Titusville, FL and four grandchildren, Megan J. Miller-Cummings, Keegan D. Barhydt, Kipp A. Barhydt and Jeffery B. White; three great-granddaughters, Reese D. Barhydt, Peyton M. White and Kalea J. Cummings; and two great-grandsons, Riley A. Barhydt and Nathan P. White.
