Born in Essex Junction, VT, she was the daughter of the late George William and Mabel (Prior) Kennedy. She retired from the Travelers Insurance Co. after 19 years of service, and was a member of South Congregational Church in East Hartford. Madeline will be deeply missed by family and friends.
She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert W. Kennedy and his wife, Dorothy of Collinsville, and Richard P. Kennedy and his wife, Jerry of East Hartford; a niece, Christine Roy of Torrington. She was predeceased by a dear sister, Dorothy Michel.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, at 11:30 a.m. in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford, with Rev. Al Turner officiating. There are no calling hours.
