Mrs. William Tennessen (Ann Nytes) 21 15 N. Morrison Street, Appleton Age 95, died Thursday, September 19, 1991 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born March 21, 1896 in the Town of Buchanan, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Micke) Nytes. She married Bill Tennessen January 11, 1921 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown, She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Altar Society where she took care of the altar cloths and altar boys cassocks and surplices for many years. She was a member of the Catholic Knights and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law: Josephine and Rawley A. Parker, Appleton with whom she made her home for 13 years prior to taking up residence at the Franciscan Care Center. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 1957; and three brothers: Frank, Ben and William. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 1991 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Father William O'Brien officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
