Lisle T. Hansel, Jr., 76, of Oswego, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 12, 2003. He was born October 16, 1926 in Wheaton, IL the son of the late Lisle T. and Minnie A. (Doberstein) Hansel Sr.
    Mr. Hansel was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and had been employed at Barber-Greene Company in Aurora for 38 years until his retirement in 1986. He was also a member of the Barber-Greene Hunting and Fishing Club in Oswego.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara I. Hansel of Oswego; two sons, Kevin T. Hansel and fiancee Lisa Nagy of Newark and Keith D. Hansel of Naperville; one granddaughter: Ciara R. Hansel; one sister: Gertrude (Thor) Aker of Tampa, FL and one brother, Robert (Norma) Hansel of Mauston, WI; also several nieces and nephews.
    He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Marian Flowers and Wilma Reeve; and one brother: George Hansel.
    Visitation for Mr. Hansel will be on Friday, February 14, 2003 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Dieterle Memorial Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 15 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Bob Kasperson will officiate with interment in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. (630)897-1196.
