Mrs. Clatterbuck was born June 21, 1908, in Craig County, and was the daughter of the late Kyle Gibson and Amy Flossen Wright Huffman, and was also raised by her stepmother, the late Mary Boyers Huffman.
She grew up in Harrisonburg and graduated from Harrisonburg High School and Harrisonburg Business College. She was a member of the Keezletown United Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Women. She was a homemaker and was manager of the cafeterias at Pleasant Valley Elementary School and Sunnyside Home.
Her husband, Marhl William Clatterbuck Sr., preceded her in death in 1985.
Survivors include a son, Donald K. Clatterbuck of Penn Laird; two daughters, Patsy C. Sacra of Penn Laird and Penny C. Patterson of Weyers Cave; a brother, Charles Huffman of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. David W. Breeden will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Friday at the Keezletown United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
