Harrisonville, Pa. – Oliver Lee Bard, 83, of Warfordsburg, died at his home
Wednesday.

He was born at Pleasant Ridge, the son of Michael and Margaret Truax Bard. He
was a retired farmer.

He was a life-time member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church in Needmore.

He is survived by:
his wife, Elizabeth Drake Bard;
six sons,
Lee of Harrisonville,
Michael of Needmore,
Raymond of Philadelphia and
Frank,
Wayne, and
Gerald, all of Warfordsburg;
two daughters,
Mrs. Helen Peters of Three Bridges, N.J. and
Mrs. Georgia Decker of Harrisonville; and
22 grandchildren and
17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ebenezer Methodist
Church in Needmore with the Rev. Earl Myers, the Rev. Leonard Wright and the
Rev. Paul Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville.
