Mrs. Shirley Mae Sprott, 87, of Center Point died Friday in a local hospital. A resident of Kerr County for the past 22 years, she was born October 3, 1930, in Baltimore, Maryland. A former resident of Pipe Creek, Texas, she moved to Kerrville in 1976 and was employed by the Texas Mental Health Mental Retardaion of Kerrville for eight years. She was a member of the Center Point United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 pm at the chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home.
She married C.A. Sprott on January 13, 1963, in San Marcos, Texas He survives along with two children, Melvin Wayne Koch of Harewood, Texas, and William Charles of Kerrville, and one great-grandfather.
