KENNETH TRIPLITT
Kenneth Triplitt, sophomore, has one Berkshire on feed which he purchased from Bud Passmore. He has not been able to show him anywhere because of his light weight. He also helped with the chapter hog feeding project Te projects started out with 24 hogs. Before the fence around the pasture was finished one of the hogs got out and was never found. The remaining 23 were kept until they reached the selling weight.

The first weight hogs were sold for $16.75 per hundred. The other remained on the feeding program for about two more months. The next 6 hogs sold brought $15.40 per hundred. The 10 remaining are still on feed, and the chapter plans to sell them soon.

Sayre Model Club
Meets Friday

The Sayre Model club met Friday night, Clarence Dean, reporter, said today. Several model airplanes were flown by the me-bers. Kenneth Triplitt and Ronnie Binion gave an exhibition with a TC-2 trainer by picking up a glider which was mounted on two model propellors. The glider was attached by strings. Kenneth's
airplane circled the glider, then dived, and picked it up. This kind of flying takes a lot of skill and is very hard to do.

Jimmy Winget is teaching the members the fundamentals of flight with the use of his Piper J-3 Cub trainer at Delhi landing strip.

Plans are being discussed on sponsoring a model contest in the near future, Dean said. At the next meeting, these plans will be talked about.
