JONATHAN A. SPANGLER.

Jonathan A. Spangler was stricken with paralysis about 6.30 p. m. yesterday, and died about three hours later at his home, at Hamburg, aged 57 years. He was a salesman on the road for 23 years, for the Curtis & Jones Co., and other shoe firms. For eight years he was an invalid and was confined to the house the last two years. There survive his widow, Mary (nee Reedy), these children, Mrs. John H. Miller, Lulu and Herbert, at Hamburg; Thomas, of Milton; Walter J., of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Irvin Heller, of Reading, and these brothers and sisters: Franklin, of Chicago; Charles, of Stouchsburg, and Mrs. Benjamin Leibig, of Lebanon. Deceased was a member of the First Reformed Church, Vaux Lodge, No. 406, F. and A. M., and Arcadia Council, No. 20, Knights of Friendship, of Hamburg. The funeral will take place Sunday at 1 p. m., from the house. Services conducted in the First Reformed Church by Rev. Karl Stein. Interment in St. John cemetery.
