Fort Myers - Burdetta R. Scullion, 86, of Fort Myers, FL passed away with family by her side on September 12, 2011. Burdetta R. Scullion (Riney) was born in Clark County, MO, on August 16, 1925 to Charles and Cyrene Riney. She married J. Donald Scullion (Scully) of Salem, OH in April 1952. Burdetta and Scully moved to FL in 1969 upon Scully's retirement from the U.S. Air Force. Burdetta was preceded in death by Scully in 2009. She is survived by her children Pamela (Randy) Ryle of Hollywood, FL, David (Sandy) Scullion; and Mike (Jeannette) Scullion all of Fort Myers. She is also survived by three grandsons, two granddaughters and one great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908. Burdetta will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be offered at www.nationalcremation.com.
