Eva R. Dakins, 81, 359 19th Ave. South, Wisconsin Rapids, was pronounced dead Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. Barry Yarbro will officiate. Entombment will be in the Forest Hill Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Thursday.

Mrs. Dakins was born Feb. 14, 1917, in Stevens Point to the late Orin and Susan (Wolf) Clendenning.

She married Wilbur Dakins on March 29, 1940, in Stevens Point. He died Aug. 3, 1998.

She was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons; Gordon (Marilyn), Wisconsin Rapids, and Norman (Mary), Appleton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
