SALONA – Mrs. Lydia Irene Bartley, 81, widow of B. Frank Bartley, Salona, died at 5:05 a.m. today in the Lock Haven Hospital where she was admitted Thursday after fracturing her hip. She had been in failing health for two years.
Born in Madisonburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Minnick. She lived in Salona 11 years, but spent most of her life in Nittany Valley. Mrs. Bartley was a member of the EUB Church in Clintondale.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Mabel Packer, Jersey Shore; Mrs. Florence Neff, Buffalo Run; Mrs. Edna Albright, State College; Mrs. Ruth Hoy, Lamar; and Mrs. Ester Miller, Flemington; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Holmes, Lock Haven; and Mrs. Annie Rine, Mill Hall; 24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

BARTLEY – Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Yost Funeral Home for Mrs. Lydia Irene Bartley, 81, widow of B. Frank Bartley, Salona, who died Saturday, July 22, 1961, at the Lock Haven Hospital. The Rev. Paul H. Kleffel will officiate. Burial Hublersburg Cemetery.
