Mrs Baker was the daughter of Gertie Privitt & Oliver Nodine. On 18 Nov 1977 she married Andrew Joe Baker. She grew up / received her education at Seven Stars School in Star Hollow. Throughout her lifetime she owned / managed various restaurants in Barry County. She was known for her cooking, especially her cinnamon rolls & pies, which gave her the nicknames of "Queen of Cinnamon Rolls" / "Pie Lady". In her spare time she made quilts, rag rugs & enjoyed gardening. She loved her dog Teddy.

Surviving are 2 sons, 2 daughters, a step-daughter, a sister, 12 grkids, 18 grgrkids, & 3 grgrgrkids.
