He was born Dec. 6, 1952, in Lawrence, the son of Jack E. and Edna (Jones) Conrad. He had recently moved to Mesa, Ariz.
Mr. Conrad was the owner and operator of Conrad Electric from 1995 to 2001. He was a master electrician at Williams Air Force Base, Mesa, Ariz. He had also worked at McBride Electric, Kansas City, Kan., and I.T. Works, Mesa, Ariz.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 226, Topeka, Abdallah Shrine, Kansas City, Kan., Lawrence Shrine Club and Mount Oread Aerie No. 309, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lawrence.
He married Linda Ellis on June 3, 1977, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
