Obituary of Charles E. Barrett :

Charles Edward Barrett, 70, died Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at his home at RR, Colchester. He had been under a doctor's care.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of the Jones Mortuary, Colchester. The Rev. Ernest Louderman will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Colchester.

Mr. Barrett was born Jan. 21, 1902, in Chalmers Township to William and Angeline ( Black ) Barrett. He married Fredia F. Harry on Nov. 2, 1935.

He had always lived in the Colchester and Macomb areas. Mr. Barrett was a retired farmer and attended Argyle Bible Church.

Surviving are his widow ; one son, Conrad Barrett, Mexico, Mo. ; one daughter, Miss Kay Barrett, Quincy ; one brother, William Barrett, Littleton ; three sisters, Mrs. Lenora Fowler, Plymouth, and Miss Bertha Barrett and Mrs. Lucy Lontos both of Macomb ; and four grandchildren.

His parents, one child, Janet Lee, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Kaiser, Mrs. Dora Black, and Mrs. Bessie Lansdown died previously.

The family requests no flowers. A memorial has been established for the Cancer Fund.
