Mary came to the United States with a rather large, extended family. The Blackmores and the Reasners were well acquainted and intermarried. An example of this is Mary and Abram's family. Mary Blackmore's cousin, Eliza Blackmore, became her stepmother-in-law, when Mary married Abram Reasner.

Note: According to cemetery records, Mary's father-in-law, Peter Reasner, was buried with Mary and Abram.

FURTHER INFORMATION:
1. Mary's death date is listed on her Michigan death certificate at michiganology.org. She died at 11:00 am on November 11, 1912 from apoplexy. The record is listed under the name Reaener which is a transcription error of Reasner. She was buried on the 14th. The undertaker, W.R. Davis, was also the informant.

2. Davis-Graham Funeral Home records: DATE: 12 Nov 1912; NAME: Mary Reasoner[sic]; INFORMATION: charged to Carl Reasoner[sic]; d Fenton; funeral service at home; b 21 Sep 1839; 73y 1m 21d; buried Oakwood Cem, Fenton.

A.) ABRAHAM REASNER; FAMILIES NOS. 417— (416)
Abraham, son of Peter and Sally (Shoemaker) Reasner, was born in Royalton, Niagara Co., N. Y., March 9, 1835, and removed, with his father, about 1856 to Fenton, Michigan. He was married, March 25, 1860, to Mary, daughter of William and Charity Blackmore. He was a farmer and died near Fenton, Mich., Sept. 20, 1890. Mrs. Mary (Blackman)
Reasner died there Nov. 11, 1913. Their children were: 1, R. William, born Sept. 5, 1864, and 2, Carlton, born May 11, 1878.

B.) R. WILLIAM REASNER; FAMILIES NOS. 418— (417)
R. William, son of Abraham and Mary (Blackmore) Reasner, born in Genesee Co., Mich., Sept. 5, 1864, was married, Sept. 5, 1887, to Lizzie, daughter of William H. and Mary (Dawe) Charters. Their home is at Rose City, Michigan. Their children are:
1, Henry A., born Dec. 25, 1888
2. Louis J, born March 11, 1894
3. Florence M., born June 13, 1901, died July 18, 1907
4. Raymond R., born June 6, 1903.

C.) CARLTON REASNER; FAMILIES NOS. 419— (417)
Carlton, son of Abraham and Mary (Blackmore) Reasner, born in Genesee Co., Mich., May 11, 1878, was married, April 25, 1900, to Bessie, daughter of H. A. and Clara (Doak) Warden. Their home is near Fenton, Genesee Co., Michigan. Their children are:
1. Neva May, born Sept. 8, 1901
2. Nina Adele, born Oct. 29, 1902
3. Howard Lawson, born Feb. 12, 1905
